Students at Gallagher Middle School are engaged in a thoughtful discussion at the start of English class. Teachers are field testing the high-quality program, Into Literature. Each lesson begins with an "Engage Your Brain" discussion.


Congratulations to the GMS Dance Team and coaches, Mrs. DeRemer and Mrs. Smith-White, on their beautiful annual performance! This performance was dedicated to Mrs. Smith-White who is retiring at the end of this school year. Thank you to your dedication to the district and team!

It's official! Governor McKee just announced that masking on school buses is no longer a requirement in RI.


Clarification on Mask Use for Buses: While the CDC has dropped its mandate for mask use on buses, the US Department of Transportation is maintaining a requirement for mask-wearing through March 18th. See:
