5th grade parents,
Join us for the first 5th Grade Committee Meeting on September 3rd at 7:30 PM in the LaPerche library. The committee plans many fun events and special activities throughout the year to help make 5th grade memorable for our kids. Since this is their last year at LaPerche, we want to make it extra special. We’d love to have your ideas, support, and involvement!

Friday, September 18-Back to School Social at LaPerche-5:00-7:30-Please join us for our Back to School Social! Enjoy BINGO, games, martial arts demonstrations, face painting, food, and more!
Tuesday, September 22-Open House at LaPerche- 5:00-7:00. Bring your whole family to LaPerche to visit your child's classroom, meet your child's teacher and other staff members and explore the building. This is a drop-in event and families are welcome to attend during any of the two-hour block.

Shirt with a Positive Message-Wear one every Tuesday!
Every Tuesday, the LaPerche staff and students are encouraged to wear a shirt with a positive message on it. We encourage the kids to share the messages and live by them that day and every day!
School Store for Kindergarten through Fifth Grade
Our school store opens this Wednesday. Students are invited to visit the store during morning recess. Grades 3-5 can also visit the store during their lunch period.
Monday-Kindergarten and Third grade
Wednesday-Second and Fourth Grade
Friday-Second and Fifth Grade
Our fifth grade student council runs the store, and students may spend up to $3 at one time. Items are from .25 cents to $2.00.

Childcare Issues and Busing
At this time, we are not able to send students on a different bus due to childcare issues. With your permission, the person who is watching your child is welcome to pick them up at school, but we are not able to send them on a different bus to another person’s house.I will let you know if the plan changes.
