Dear PVE Families,
It certainly was a quick week here at Pleasant View! On Monday, SSELAC came to award Mrs. Sparkes Griffin (occupational therapist) and Mr. Firth (fifth grade teacher) the Positivity Award for the month of March. A huge Congratulations to them BOTH!

The third trimester started on Monday. Report cards went live in Infinite Campus on Monday afternoon.
There is No School on Tuesday, April 2nd for Presidential Preference Primary Day.

A Message from Dr. Monaco
It is now time to start the nomination process for the 2024-25 Smithfield Teacher of the Year! This person represents all of the great qualities of Smithfield teachers - knowledge of the subject matter, engaging instruction, strong connections with students, and professionalism. All teachers, staff, and families are invited to nominate a teacher for this prestigious award. To submit a nomination, please complete this form by April 12th. The winner will be announced at the May School Committee meeting.
Last Call for Survey Works
Please help us know how we are doing at Pleasant View Elementary, by completing a Survey Works survey (from the RI Dept. of Education) for each of your children that attend PVE. The deadline for feedback is MARCH 31st.
